Title- Teaching Image Processing in Engineering using Python.
Abstract- This paper describes the experience lived in the Faculty of Basic Sciences and Engineering of Universidad de Los Llanos referred to the application of Project Based Learning PBL-ABP as a strategy for teaching Image Processing in undergraduate students of engineering. Through this, learners are able to complement their readings and lectures, to process and manipulate images and to build their own Image Processing Tools using Python programming language. This paper shows some projects resulting from the application of the methodology and using the key concepts of image processing and pattern analysis.
