Title- Internet-based Performance Support Systems in Engineering Education.
Abstract- This paper is centered in 'Internet-based Performance Support Systems with Educational Elements' (IPSS_EE) model. The theoretical foundations and characteristicsare analyzed together to its application to check the model effectiveness by means of a mixed research approach with universities students; measuring instruments consisted of questionnaires on attitude to learn by computer and on the learning methods reflection, together achievement test on the practices. The results showed positive students’ attitudes and goodresults on achievement in performance. We recommend the use of educational platforms, performance learning centered, in universities studies and continuing training, necessary to answer the workplace demands.
