Title- Innovation in the University: Perception, Monitoring and Satisfaction
Abstract- In this article, a blended learning teaching experience played in the UNED is described. The project consisted in a proposal of integration of technology (virtual learning platform) and teaching methodologies (multimedia contents, weekly deliverables activities, continuous self- assessment, mentoring, four-monthly calendar and webconferences) in order to increase students' engagement, results and satisfaction. A statistical study performed showed that self-assessment and teacher follow-up are the main factors for: 1) students' initial perception, 2) satisfaction and 3) the most effective tools to avoid dropout. Participants in the project have a reduced dropout rate and better results than those who did not get involved in it.
